Company can blacklist an individual but entering a country anywhere in the GCC is the sole resposibility of Immigration Dept.

Your case according to your naration above is a simple absconding case. However, if your company blacklisted you and decided to file an abscobding case against you to the proper authorities - then it's a different story.

However your biggest problem and worry are the banks. Banks and Credit Card issuing companies are certainly will file a criminal case against you and with the new law in the UAE - the Police is now tasked under the new law to claim the money an individual owed a certain entity. This is done by the banks filing a case against you and normally - a person with a case can easily be tracked and apprehended the moment you step-in at any UAE Immigration Gates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, RAK, Sharjah). Sometimes amount also plays a role.

In the case of GCC blacklisting - i dont think you are blacklisted or you will be arrested on entry as there is no extradition ties yet between the GCC. This means if your case is in the UAE - it's under the UAE system only and non-trasferable to any other courts.

No firm can stop you from entering in any of the GCC country until or unless you are barred by the country itself. Just talk to bank and take them into confirdence that you will pay the outstanding amount once you get good job or do no inform until you get one. Try looking for some other job and repay the amt as soon as possibel before the bank takes any legal action.

You might be landed in jail if u try to enter in any GCC country once u r black listed in any of GCC countries as their immigration systems are inter connected now.

One of my friends was black listed in KSA in 2006 and he has been caught by Dubai immigration authority yesterday.
